From online to offline, and vice versa

In 2016 Acer sponsored one of the biggest gaming congregations in Europe, the All-Star Event, a League of Legends event that drew a crowd of more than 18,000 people to Palau Sant Jordi, in Barcelona. The brand wanted to maximise their sponsorship of this event on social networks and to reinforce their association with the gaming industry.


The solution

Brand broadcasting: 
Live from the gamers’ paradise

We set up a daily broadcast of the most important activities during the All-Star Event, with feedback from the influencers invited by the brand. Through Acer’s channels, we posted 20 videos that we made over the four days of the event, and we gave a live broadcast of the news from each day.

We also worked with different influencers, such as @ZellenDust, who interviewed some of the players, and with other profiles who helped animate the brand’s stand during the event and sampled some Acer products live. All the activities produced ad-hoc generated digital content, to be able to offer all the information about the event through native formats.
